As there are no connecting roads between any towns or settlements, local operators with passenger approved boats, ferries, helicopters and planes ties and connects the whole Disko Bay region together.

Aasiaat is the only one that has an airport in our region, you will have to sail by boat in summer or fly with a helicopter in winter, if you are going to other towns as Qasigiannguit, Qeqertarsuaq & Kangaatsiaq.

Travelling in Disko Bay during the summer:

• Boat transportation is available during the summer months.
• You can book your boat travel at Diskoline or contact local operators directly. 

Travelling in Disko Bay during the winter:

• Helicopter travel is the only option during the winter months.
• You can book your helicopter flights at Airgreenland.
