In August, there will be a number of start-up courses, which will be beneficial for those who have entrepreneurial ideas or have just started as self-employed.
Every Saturday morning in August, Qeqertalik Business Council in cooperation with Innovation Greenland, offer a start-up related course, with a locally based course instructor who will make the entrepreneur wiser about budgeting, bookkeeping and a number of tax issues that apply to start-ups.
In addition, it will be possible to meet a driven entrepreneur who will tell her story and experiences with her own challenges as an entrepreneur to inspire others.
“I am pleased we finally can start the entrepreneur-related courses in our region. This is co-financed by Innovation Greenland, so it is also nice to be able to see the benefits of this collaboration, which will benefit our activities in Qeqertalik ” says CEO Gerth P. Olsen.
The courses are held in Sømandshjemmet Aasiaat, but others with entrepreneurial ideas from the Qeqertalik region are welcome to contact the business council for participation in the courses.
In addition to above, we will be visited by Greenland Venture and their board on August 18, where the town’s businesses and stakeholders are welcome to participate in an informal chat with us and our guests from Greenland Venture.
