Museum's project about the living village is where people will show a west Greenlandic summer tent, based on research from 16-1700 centuries.
The tent is made of sealskin and the people will dress up in sealskins clothes.
Sealskin clothes are made in Qasigiannguit - based on research from clothing in Qilakitsoq mumies in around year 15th century.
Paintings from 17-18th centuries shows that the sealskin clothes patterns has been unchanged.
So the sealskins clothes are dated as in 17th - 18th centuries.
You will see ''The Living Village'' near the Ikisarfik/Tasersuaq - the big lake near the heliport.
