Throphy Hunting
In Disko Bay region trophy hunting takes place during summer and winter.
The winter hunt for musk ox takes place in March and April, in the area around the fjord Saqardleq, approximately 50 km northeast of Qasigiannguit.
The usual means of transportation during the trophy hunting by winter is dog sledding. Dog sledding is a way of life in Greenland and an important part of the cultural heritage.
Search for the animals by sliding through the powdery white snow and enjoy the scenic and picturesque arctic landscape as you go.
For rules and guidelines, ask the local providers, as they are the experts within their field.
