Attu, a peaceful village in Greenland, offers a unique and authentic experience for visitors seeking an immersive taste of traditional Greenlandic life.
Unnuisarfik Attu, the only accommodation option in the village, is a cozy Greenlandic house that perfectly captures the charm and simplicity of rural living. With four bedrooms and a kitchen, it provides ample space for families or groups looking to connect with nature and the local community. Although the house does not have running water or a shower, this aspect of the stay adds to the authenticity, offering a refreshing return to basics. Water can be collected from nearby sources, a common practice in smaller Greenlandic settlements.
For added convenience, guests can easily access shower facilities just a minute away at the Sullissivik building. Open Monday to Friday, the showers are free to use, and laundry services are available at 29 DKK per wash and dry load.
